NRST Short Course Meet

***VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!***  Please use the public job signup if you are able to help with Stroke & Turn, Safety Marshall / Timer (Dual Position) or Timer / Stroke & Turn Spare in the Public Job section.  ***MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED***

Stroke and Turn for Sesson 2 Sat PM amd Session 4 Sun PM are now FULL even though signup says otherwise.

Stroke and Turn still needed for Session 1 Sat AM (0 of 7 filled), Session 3 Sun AM (2 of 9 filled)

Timekeeper / Safety Marshalls (Dual Position) for Session 1 Sat AM is now FULL even though signup says otherwise.

COVID RESTRICTIONS AND GUIDELINES / YOUTUBE LIVESTREAM

1. Proof of Vaccination - All swimmers (12 years of age and older), coaches and volunteers attending the NRST Fall Invitational (an event of 50+ people) must provide proof of full vacination when checking in at the  Nanaimo Aquatic Center on October 23rd and 24th. 

With the upcoming October 24^th Fully Vaccinated key date, NRST has opted to make full vaccination required on October 23^rd and October 24^th for meet attendance.  Proof of vaccination is the digital with the QR Code (see link below)

 Key Date - October 24:  Fully vaccinated - By October 24, you must be fully vaccinated to access some events, services and businesses. You're fully vaccinated with 2 doses.

Attention Coaches - Please ensure that all swimmers (12 years of age and older), coaches and volunteers attending the meet have proof of full vaccination before registering for the meet.  Anyone that cannot provide proof of vaccination will unable to enter the event.

2. Masks - All swimmers (5 years of age and older), coaches and volunteers will be required to wear masks while in the Nanaimo Aquatic Center.  Swimmers are not required to wear a mask when traveling between the designated team areas in the stands and the pool for warmups or racing.

3. Parents and Guardians - Please make sure that all swimmers of age 12 years and older have proof of full vaccination with them at the meet or they will not be able to enter the facility.  We do not want to turn away swimmers.

4. No Spectators - There will be no spectators or family allowed in the Nanaimo Aquatic Center  to allow the maximum number of swimmers to attend the meet each session.  Any non swimmers in attendance would count towards the limited capacity of the facility.  Officials and coaches are also being kept to a minimum to allow more swimmers to attend the meet.

5. Youtube Livestream - Each meet session will be live streamed on Youtube and will also be availible for viewing after the meet.  If for any reason there are issues with a swimmer appearing on social media please do not register the swimmer for the meet.
