Hello Riptides families,
For those families looking to update their Officials training, there will be several clinics offered in the University of Victoria McKinnon Building on Saturday, November 23rd. It is a bit of a trek but a great opportunity to get 2 or 3 clinics in one day.
Here is a list of scheduled courses offered on that day:
Session 1 (9am - 11am)
- (Level 1) Safety Marshal
- (Level 2) Judge of Stroke/Inspector of Turns
- (Level 1) Introduction to Swimming Officiating (Timer)
- (Level 2) Chief Timekeeper
Session 2 (11:15am - 1:15pm)
- (Level 3) Recorder-Scorer
- (Level 2) Chief Finish Judge (CFJ) / Chief Judge Electronics (CJE)
- (Level 2) Starter (*Stroke & Turn experience)
Session 3 (1:30pm - 3:30pm)
- (Level 2) Clerk of Course
- (Level 3) Referee (*Years of experience, several training courses)
- (Level 2) Meet Manager
