Earlier Season Start for Competitive Swimmers
The City of Nanaimo has confirmed that NRST will be able to return to the Nanaimo Aquatic Center beginning Monday, October 5, one week earlier than originally scheduled.
We know this has been a challenging start to the season, especially for the swimmers who haven’t been able to access regular pool training. We are very excited to get everyone back into the pool and into their regular training schedules.
Please note that due to previously scheduled training at NAC, our schedule on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 may need to be modified or cancelled. We will update families as soon as we know of any changes.
Thank you to all of our swimmers and families for your patience and flexibility throughout the NAC closure. We also want to thank the City of Nanaimo and the NAC staff for working with us to make an earlier return possible.
All competitive groups (Swim Skills, Junior & Senior) should plan to follow their regular NAC schedules beginning Monday, October 5. We will communicate any schedule adjustments before then.
We’re excited to have the entire competitive Riptides program back together at NAC and to see everyone back on deck and in the water!
**NOTE: Olympic Way Fall Session is still scheduled to start on Tuesday, October 13th at Beban Pool
